Q.  What is a non denominational minister?

A.  In general terms it refers to a minister who may or may not be affiliated with a particular denomination. It also means that he (or she) addresses the needs of those who may have very strong religious ties as well as those who have almost no ties to a particular faith or denomination.  It also means, in most cases but not all, that the minister teaches and practices basic principles of Christianity.

Q.  Am I a non denominational minister?

A.  Absolutely.  I'm probably the quintesential non denom minister.  I minister to a broad cross-section of people and backgrounds that include connections to Presbyterian, Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Roman Catholic and more.  I am also comfortable with couples who have no religious background who desire to have a minister officiate a non religious service with meaning and depth.

Q.  What are the components of my wedding ceremony?

A. The basic components consist of appropriate readings, a special focus on the marriage relationship, wedding vows, parental blessing (when appropriate), lighting of the Unity Candle, Rose Exchange, a prayer/blessing and presentation of the bride and groom.

Q.  How do my fees compare with others?

A.  I've been told that my fees are very competitive in the mid range, and that I offer much more in services.  Call me and let's discuss your needs.

Q.  What does this include?

A.  An in-depth consultation in my home or an agreed-upon convenient location.  There is discussion regarding the couple's "how we met" story, some brief history and discussion regarding the wedding ceremony.  Each couple takes home a planned wedding ceremony with all the basic components with flexibility to "make it their own".  An of couse, I will be present at the wedding ceremony.  I will also process the signing and mailing of the marriage license.  The fee includes as many meetings as the couple requests.

Q.  What is not included?

A.  The wedding rehearsal.  This varies according to "drive-time".
